This is our kitchen. See the blue light? There is a blue light in the kitchen that supposedly is good for killing bacteria. Thank god we also have normal light in the kitchen, it is really hard to get used to the blue light. Window looks out over the street in front of our appartment.
Thanks for sharing your goings-on in Moldova...not surprised that you put on a bonified feast for Thanksgiving, skinny legs and all...we were up near Healdsburg with my pal Stan's widow, Julie, and two other families...a late but great movable feast, with the most interesting wine for turkey being an old vine Carignan from southwest Coteaux du Languedoc..best part of the holiday was being with good folks and getting to watch Elena lay down the law with two three year old boys.... How is your research and teaching going? Are there added challenges due to language barrier? Are you learning the language? Is Crisna able to attend to her Blue Cross/Shield responsibilities from Moldova as hoped? How about the slant of the press? Can you get the news in the form of printed word? Is your Slingbox working? J-E-T-S have been a B-U-S-T...Giants record is significantly better but they're going nowhere either... Can you ride your bike to the university on the hill from your home, or would that be ill-advised in light of those innocent looking vans? Is there any stuff I can send your way in the form of a care package? Elena and I picked 54 persimmons yesterday from our tree that I was shocked produced anything? Today is saturday and we're off to the gym (and Kid's Korner) in a minute and then out to Pt. Reyes to collect seashells and explore the Coast. Will write more, Love to you both, Scott and Family
